REVERSIBLE CHAIR

Reversible Chair is turned over and used both sides for kids and adults.

" If there is a chair for both children and adults? "

Different height of chair

Due to the height of the chairs, children can only sit on the children's chair and adults can only sit on the adult chair. Therefore, the children's chair is thrown away when the child grows taller. I started this project after discovering a problem with a child's chair that keeps getting thrown away. The height of the chair is the most important factor in making a chair that not only children but adults can sit on. What shape should a chair have that is suitable for both children's and adults' leg lengths? I tried to sketch and experiment with all possible solutions.

Cloth

What if I could make chairs of different heights out of a flexible cloth? I tried to change the height of the chair by hanging a cloth on different objects.

Experiment with Fabric

Model construction

The frame was made by bending aluminum alloy rods and painting them red. Also, the fabric was sewn so that it could be easily fitted into the bar.

Flip Over

The chair is designed to help consumers understand the way to use through an intuitive "flip-over" method. When a child uses the chair, the seat height is low, and when the chair is turned upside down, the seat height is raised so that an adult can sit on the chair.

Easy to grab

Since the chair has a frame, it is easy to lift, turn or move. Also, this frame serves as a handle that the child can safely hold while sitting.
